How to remove acne pimples on face

Acne is a skin condition that happens when the oily sebum, bacteria, and dead skin cells accumulate on the surface of the skin. Acne can be caused by hormones, diet, skin type, and stress. Acne can also be caused by infection with the bacteria Propionibacterium acnes.

There are many treatments for acne, but the most effective is usually a combination of topical medications and/or light therapy. Topical medications include benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, and retinoids. Light therapy is usually used in combination with topical medications. It is delivered through a special light box and is effective in treating mild to moderate acne.

If you are experiencing severe acne, you may need to try a different treatment. Topical antibiotics, isotretinoin (Accutane), and laser therapy are all options for severe acne.
